Reporting to the SVP Commercial Analysis and located in Dublin, the position of VP Commercial Analysis is a key member of the Financial and Commercial Analysis team. The Commercial Analysis team is part of the Financial and Commercial Analysis (FCA) team and is focused on the structuring and pricing of transactions to place new aircraft on order, acquisitions through Sale and Leaseback, and Aircraft Trading opportunities. The Commercial Analysis team work on the deal teams for transactions and projects with its value stemming from the models it builds and uses as well as the analysis and recommendations it makes; building on both the work of the larger CFO team and the specific commercial analysis, planning and forecasting performed by the FCA team. The team ensures transactions are appropriately priced and recorded. The VP Commercial Analysis is responsible for ensuring any transaction is appropriately priced, efficiently structured, and accurately recorded and working with the rest of the company in developing optimal commercial outcomes and executing the transactions, while all transactions’ financial and risk implications are properly processed and understood by the rest of the SMBC AC business.
