Conference & Business Support Assistant
Based in Dublin, the Business Support team consists of 4 Executive Assistants and 2 Receptionists. The team provides administrative assistance for our Management Group and the 250+ employees based in the SMBC AC Headquarters in Dublin and the 40+ employees based in our overseas offices.
We now have a vacancy for a Business Support Conference Assistant on our Business Support Team on a permanent contract basis. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, as detailed below, for all conferences and to the Business Support team.
Core Responsibilities
- Management of sponsorship and participation in external conferences including:
- Securing sponsorship deals
- Meeting room management
- Registration and accommodation
- Coordination of company meeting schedule for conferences
- Coordination of transportation schedule
- Ad hoc restaurant bookings and tasks
- Assist with Visa and passport applications
- Provide cover for the Reception team as required
- Provide assistance at off-site meetings and company events
- General administration and ad-hoc duties that may arise from time to time to support the Business Support team
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in general office administration in a fast paced corporate environment.
- Experience in conference and events
- Strong, proven MS skills essential – particularly in Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
