SMBC Aviation Capital delivers two Boeing 737-8 MAX to Air India

Seattle, April 26th 2024: SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to announce the delivery of two (2) Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft each equipped with two (2) CFM LEAP-1B27 engines to Air India. MSN 60916 delivered on 22nd April, followed by MSN 60913 on 26th April.
Both aircraft and their associated engines were delivered while located in Seattle, USA.
The Aircraft are the first and second of seven (7) 737-8 MAX units delivering to Air India as part of a sale and lease back transaction with the airline.
