SMBC Aviation Capital signs lease agreements with Turkish Airlines’ fully owned subsidiary AJet for 5 Airbus A320neos

Dublin, Ireland – July 4, 2025 – SMBC Aviation Capital, a leading global aircraft leasing company, is pleased to announce that it has signed the lease agreements with Turkish Airlines’ fully owned subsidiary AJet, for five (5) Airbus A320neo aircraft.
Dublin, Ireland – July 4, 2025 – SMBC Aviation Capital, a leading global aircraft leasing company, is pleased to announce that it has signed the lease agreements with Turkish Airlines’ fully owned subsidiary AJet, for five (5) Airbus A320neo aircraft.
With these direct leases to AJet, the aircraft will bring the number of SMBC Aviation Capital’s portfolio placed at Turkish Airlines to 25 aircraft, since 2022. These five young, fuel efficient A320neos are scheduled to be delivered in Q42025 through Q22026 and will be operated exclusively by AJet. This transaction marks a further step in AJet’s fleet expansion and operational efficiency strategy.
