Fifth Airbus A350 XWB for Asiana Airlines

Toulouse, April 10th:
SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to announce that it has delivered its fifth Airbus A350 XWB (MSN 0198) to Korean airline, Asiana Airlines.This is the fifth of a six A350-900 sale and leaseback deal which also includes the financing of Pre-Delivery Payments due to the aircraft manufacturer.
The aircraft is fitted with Rolls Royce Trent XWB-84 engines. SMBC Aviation Capital's first A350 was delivered to Asiana in April 2017. One more A350 XWB aircraft will be delivered in 2018.
Asiana was one of SMBC Aviation Capital's first customers in Asia.Both companies have now worked together for over 15 years.
