SMBC Aviation Capital enhances its Airline Marketing team
21st December 2016: SMBC Aviation Capital, one of the world's leading aircraft leasing companies has announced four senior appointments to its Airline Marketing team bringing the total number of team members to 16.
Michael Sheldon, has joined the team from Delta Airlines as SVP Airline Marketing based in the United States while Samuel Ng, has joined the team from China Aircraft Leasing Company as VP Airline Marketing based in Hong Kong. Both bring significant industry experience to their roles.
Jamie Cahillane and Cora McCormack have each been appointed SVP Airline Marketing from within SMBC Aviation Capital. Based in Dublin, both will be responsible for managing and developing airline relationships throughout EMEA.
Commenting on the announcement, Brian Harvey, Chief Marketing Officer, SMBC Aviation Capital said, "We are delighted to enhance the depth of our marketing team which reflects our expanding business across the world. These individuals bring a wealth of skills from across the aircraft leasing industry. The fact that two of these appointees are also from within the company is testament to our keen emphasis on people development. The Airline Marketing team is responsible for managing SMBC Aviation Capital's relationships with the global airline industry and the main aircraft and engine OEMs.
