SMBC Aviation Capital delivers four Boeing 737-8 Max to Southwest Airlines

Seattle, 2nd March 2021: SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to announce the delivery of a further four (4) Boeing 737-8 MAX (MSN 62536, 62543, 61869 and 61872) each equipped with two (2) CFM LEAP-1B27 engines to Southwest Airlines.

The first of these aircraft, MSN 62536 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on January 25th, while the fourth aircraft MSN 61872 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on March 2nd.

MSN 62543 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on January 28th 2021

MSN 61869 and associated engines was delivered while located at the Boeing facility in Seattle on February 5th 2021

These are the eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh aircraft to be delivered to Southwest Airlines from a twelve (12) aircraft deal with the last remaining aircraft scheduled to deliver this August.
